About CFOS’17

Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, is organizing a Symposium on Contemporary Facets in Organic Synthesis (CFOS 2017), during 22nd-24th December, 2017 in illustrious Multi Activity Centre (MAC), IIT Roorkee. The primary reason behind organizing CFOS 2017 is a spectacular surge in the areas of organic synthesis, which have over the recent few years carved out hitherto untouched, facets of organic synthesis. These frontier developments have profound applications in pharmaceuticals, materials and other related cutting edge scientific archetypes. With CFOS-17, we strive to bring in the specialists on top of their fields working in the above scientific domains from all over the country to a converging platform. This event should immensely help the entry level researchers in Industries and academic Institutions, researchers pursuing PhD, M. Pharm. and students of organic chemistry in general by gaining exposure to the best minds in the field of organic synthesis in the country. The event, in addition to enthralling lectures by elite speakers, will include multiple open house sessions and workshops to benefit the youngsters and help them get the best out of their investment of time.

About IIT Roorkee
